Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed that he will be staring in the third season of Bigg Boss called Bigg Boss season 3.
The superstar has settled his contract with Star TV where he had hosted the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati series and moved on to Colors.
Colors, already riding the high wave with hit shows like Balika Vadhu and Khatron Ka Khiladi, may have another hit to its credit. Bachchan will take over from Shilpa Shetty, who hosted Bigg Boss in its previous season.
Bigg Boss season 3 is expected to start sooner, Second version took time because Sony TV and Endemol the producers of Bigg Boss were in a dead lock over many operation things.
Colors TV got so much publicity and eye balls due to Bigg Boss that they wanted to do season 3 as soon as possible. If sources has to be believed, producers already started hunt for the housemates for house of Bigg Boss season 3.
In this season of Bigg Boss 3, Bachchan will be playing the role of 'Pop Philosopher', a unique concept that will be one of the differentiators of this season. As 'Pop Philosopher', Big B will bridge the gap between 'Bigg Boss' participants and viewers, through contextualising events, simplifying emotions and most importantly, analysing developments that happen within the 'Bigg Boss' house.
