Sophia Handa has won the Gladrags 'Mrs India' title in a glittering ceremony here.
Final event of contest was held at Mumbai.
In a pageant where age holds no bar and these beautiful women are out to prove that marriage, family and children are not a hindrance in carving a niche, Sofia emerged victorious, defeating 22 participants.
Shreema Roy was declared first runner up while
Shivalaika Sharma was adjudged the second runner up.
Sophia is just 26 years old house wife and she is from Mumbai. She completed her graduation in B. Com. Sophia also worked for music video, TV Serial, Print Ad and Ramp. In the past Sofia has featured in music videos and also done modeling.
This year the contest was very different because it was a contest for married woman under the age of 50. Some contestants were in the age bracket of 43, 42 and 39. Some are mothers of teenagers and some of them were newly wed.
The winner will represent India in the Mrs. World pageant.
