Bigg Boss Season 3 started its first episode yesterday which ran for nearly 100 minutes. All eyes were glued to the TV as the faces of participants were revealed with elaborate intros. The prime slot on national television became the hot spot and what came as a bouncer was the name Jaya Sawant, Rakhi Sawant's estranged mother with hot and sizzling babe
Shamita Shetty.Before entering the Bigg Boss 3 house, Jaya Sawant thanked the entire public as the contestants were chosen on the basis of viewer's choice and said that she is confident about her participation in the show and that she can handle everyone; well she is Rakhi Sawant's mother after all!
Rakhi didn't even care to invite her own mother when she conducted her 'Swayamvar' and now her mother is proud that the Bigg Boss people called her to take part. Ironically, Rakhi also started her reality show stint with 'Bigg Boss'.

Bigg Boss Season 3, donning the role of "pop philosopher", the one who will decode the journey of the 13 inmates in the Bigg Boss house.

Shamita Shetty, comedian Raju Srivastava, fashion designer Rohit Verma, German sex bomb Claudia Ciesla, Dara Singh's son Vindoo Dara Singh, model Aditi Govitrikar, Kamal Khan the actor-director and writer of the movie Desh Drohi and for the first time a couple Tanaaz Currim and Bakhtiyar will take part in the show.
Shilpa Shetty, who won international reality show "Celebrity Big Brother" in 2007, could have given various tips to younger sister Shamita Shetty for surviving the Indian version of the show titled Bigg Boss Season 3", but all she told her was "Be yourself".
"Shilpa completely backed off when 'Bigg Boss' was offered to me. She was absolutely not instrumental in helping me decide whether or not to take up the show. And when I decided to go for it, she never even gave me any tips. She just said 'Be yourself', Shamita said.
Shamita Shetty, who made her Bollywood debut with "Mohabbatien" in 2000, is now in the "Bigg Boss Season 3" house, surviving without her family or any connection with the outside world.
The last season of the reality show had been hosted by Shilpa Shetty following her "Big Brother" win.
Before entering the house, Shamita was excited about stepping into the small screen as well as testing her strengths on the show, where she will be staying for three months with 12 other strangers.
