her stance on Gay rights. The bollywood actress has fully supported
LGBT community and was exhilarated when Delhi High Court decalred that
homosexuality was not a crime anymore. However, Celina continues to
attract the ire of those who do not support homosexuality. Some days
age she was getting hate mail on her website and now it is yoga guru
Baba Ramdev who is not amused and waged a war of words against Celina.
And Celina has bounced back with vengeance too.
Where on hand,
Ramdev called homosexuality a disease and claimed to have a cure for
this disease, Celina called him closed-minded. Baba said,"Homosexuality
is like a virus and if it affects you, you have nowhere to go, they
(gays) are like animals who do not realize what brings happiness." And
Celina responded by saying that Baba should limit himself to teaching
Yoga a he do not have qualifications to treat disease.
The
things turned a bit nasty when Ramdev made some alleged sexist remarks
saying that these actresses knew nothing about Indian culture and stay
away from their parents and have no morals. Moreover, he said that
their partner change every month. The actress was not amused by these
comments. She called him self styled doctor. She questioned the
integrity of Baba for passing lewd remarks at a single girl and keeping
tabs on the sexual life of a person.
