Madonna in Rajasthan India
Madonna has cancelled her trip to Jaisalmer after her presence in Rajasthan for a year-end holiday became news in Jodhpur.
The pop music icon cancelled the trip to avoid the paparazzi.
Instead, she spent the day at a 16th-century fort that was once a
princely state of medieval Rajasthan in Pali district.
Madonna reached the Rohitgarh Fort, now a heritage hotel, with her
husband, son and five other friends in the afternoon after staying at
Dechu village, 150km from Jodhpur, overnight.
The singer will spend the night at the heritage hotel and is likely
to leave for Fort Chanwa hotel in Jodhpur district, about 35 km from
here, where the blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was shot. The Fort
Chanwa hotel is located in a wildlife protected area where endangered
black bucks are available.
The shutterbugs chasing her spent the winter night around a camp fire near a private heritage resort at Dechu.
Madonna arrived in Rajasthan on New Yearâ??s eve.
