Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), has emerged as second largest party in Mumbai now after this election result it is clearly shown by MNS that it is the BIG force in Maharashtra now after Congress.
Expert also thinks as after this new Congress-Nationalist Congress Party alliance's government get formed it wont be that easy for them to rule for full term of 5 years as after some time situation may get reversed in Maaharashtra as BJP may try to tie up its alliance with MNS and make Congress-Nationalist Congress Party alliance's government unstable.
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) also said recently that it had been hurt by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in the assembly elections. The MNS has hurt NCP. We have certainly faced a setback - said the NCP spokesman Sachin Ahir.
Ahir added that since the NCP was contesting only 114 seats, "so the Congress would definitely have an upper hand" in the 288-member assembly. The NCP is the junior ally to the Congress.
"The Congress will decide” who will be the chief minister of Maharashtra, he said.
