The story of the film is about Billu who lives in a
village where a movie shooting unit arrives. The lead star of the shooting unit
is Sahil Khan who is Billu's childhood school friend. The villagers come to
know that Billu is friend of the top star and Billu becomes popular. But Billu
is afraid that his friend, who is a popular star, will never recognize him or
acknowledge that he is his friend. Billu goes to meet the lead star and he
doesn't succeed in meeting him.
After a lot of struggle he fails and people in the village suspect that
Billu is telling lies to gain fame and they insult him for spreading rumors.
His kids make fun of him and one day Billu's past is revealed in a school
function.The star is invited to the school function and he tells people that he
had a friend who helped him in his hardships and gave him food when he as
hungry. He even gave clothes and money to join the acting school. The star
reveals that the friend was Billu and people of the village recognize Billo and
the movie ends with a happy note.
