New York has a lot in common with Mumbai, its very similar to Mumbai, says

Slumdog Millionaire. Freida Pinto is set to move to New York to further her career following the success of Slumdog Millionaire.
Freida said, "In a way it's very similar to Mumbai except that it's more organised. I was walking down Fifth Avenue recently and I realised that everyone is walking in one direction and totally focused on what they're doing.
I remember it being 5 am and I could hear the honking cars and I thought, "I feel like I'm in Mumbai!" Freida is confident she can be a success in Hollywood, despite the low number of Indian actors who have made it big there. She added, "I'm not worried about not doing well. I feel a film like Slumdog Millionaire has really showcased my acting talents. Because I'm not always seen in my best light in the film, I have a scar on my face and a black eye it de-glamorises the character. Hopefully it will do great things for my career so people don't just see me as a beautiful model."
