Shahrukh Khan, owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), an Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 team, has drawn the ire of the Shiv Sena for his stand on the alleged "boycott" of Pakistani cricketers in the IPL-3 auction. Shah Rukh Khan had rued the exclusion saying the League should have invited everyone. He came under heavy criticism for his point of view in a statement by Sena MP Sanjay Raut. Under attack from Shiv Sena for his remarks Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan said he was not apologetic for favouring the inclusion of Pakistani players and termed the activities of the party as "undemocratic".
The politics over the IPL issue has intensified, Now Home Minister of Maharashtra, RR Patil has come out in open support of Shah Rukh Khan and warned Shiv Sena against disrupting the screening of "
My Name Is Khan."

Shah Rukh Khan," said Patil. The warning has come after Shiv Sena activists shouted slogans demanding that "SRK go to Pakistan" outside his residence 'Mannat' in Bandra, Mumbai.
