Grapevine has it that recently Anil was disturbed with Sonam because of her late night out. According to a close source, "When it comes to his children, Anil Kapoor is a disciplinarian and has set rules and regulations for them. And the obedient children always abide by them."
When Sonam reached home at 4 am after a night out with friends, a vexed Anil reprimanded and grounded her at home for next one month, except her professional commitments. A disheartened Sonam took the punishment without any grumble.
"Sonam is always guarded by two security escorts wherever she steps out of the house. Anil knows the ways of the industry and is very protective of his daughter."
Sonam neither approved nor disapproved the story and said, "I am always on time." However, Anil Kapoor was unavailable for comment as he is out of country.
It seems papa Anil is too concerned about his doe-eyed daughter Sonam!
